Benjamin (Ben) Alle is a trumpet performer and music educator based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. He is principal trumpet of the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, assistant principal trumpet of the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the Minneapolis-based Compass Rose Brass Ensemble. Ben has also performed with the Thunder Bay Symphony, as well as numerous Minnesota ensembles, including the Mankato and Kenwood Symphony Orchestras, the Civic Orchestra of Minneapolis, VocalEssence, and the Edina Chorale.
Ben holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Minnesota School of Music, where he studied with David Baldwin. Before his graduate studies, he studied with Terry Schwartz at the Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College. He currently maintains an active private teaching studio and is available for lessons, masterclasses, and freelance performances in the Twin Cities.
